The Sheepshead iOS and Android Apps have received a large upgrade, to better enhance user play and make for a more realistic game experience.

iOS/Android Updates:

New in Sheepshead v1.6.0

* Added ability to replay the hand. See what happens if you play your cards differently.
– Not available in tournament play

* Added ‘Hints’. When enabled ‘Hints’ will give a play suggestion during the picking and card playing phases.
– This can be enabled in Options->General. It is off by default.

* Bug fixes

• Added new option that allows leasters to be won without taking a trick. This is turned off by default.
• Unknown cards are revealed if the player wins the trick
• Opponent team is more likely to push the Picker when trumping fail
• When selecting an unknown, Picker is no longer forced to keep a fail

The Sheepshead iOS App has received a small update to fix a bug effecting leaderboard score submission.

iOS Updates:

• Fixed bug preventing new high-scores from being submitted to the iOS GameCenter leaderboards

The Sheepshead Android App has received a point upgrade, to better enhance user play and make for a more reliable game experience.

Android Updates:

• Fixed a bug that may prevent game loading
  • This was caused by corruption of downloaded updated files
  • Included default set of game logic files, instead of requiring a download on first startup.
• Updated settings layout
• Ability to enable or disable automatic game logic updates from server
• Ability to enable to ‘Beta’ game logic updates

This is an update to the iOS client to support iOS 9 and the larger screen sizes of the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6+ and newer models of phone. It also includes quick actions from the home screen, which are available for iPhone models supporting force touch.

A tournament mode has been added to Sheepshead, alongside iOS updates to support it.  A tournament consists of 10 hands, after which a final winner is declared.  When playing a tournament, exiting back to the title screen will cause it to be canceled.  Anything that happens during a tournament will not affect the main game state
